hands do
blister
and bleed ,
bold
like frayed
twists of
twine.
worlds wear skin
and bone
to
thick hide-leather
like
inseparable
breath and wind,
blood is
not weakness,
and suns
bleed flame,
you
are a sun
that breathes love.
though
your hands may be
worn,
do not
cease to breathe
